ABOUT MY POODLES
Hi, my name is SHARON of Sharwood Poodles, and we are located in Stuart, Florida where
I breed AKC red, apricot and black poodles (specializing in red). My poodles average weight is 8-12
lbs. and up to 13" in height. My numbers are small so that I can give each dog the care and love they need and want
all the time. My breeding dogs have pedigrees with many outstanding CHAMPION representatives of the breed. MY
BLACK MINIATURES "LIZZ" AND "RUBIN" BOTH FINISHED THEIR AKC CHAMPIONSHIPS WITHIN MONTHS OF EACH OTHER in 2006.
I do not have a kennel. My dogs and puppies are "family members" and receive lots of loving
and attention. I wouldn't have it any other way.
My adults and puppies are all spoiled house dogs, have great temperaments, give lots of kisses and
tail waggings, and are well socialized (especially by my grandchildren). Puppies leave for their new homes well groomed,
have a complete Vet physical, 1st set of shots, worming, have a Florida Certificate of Health guaranteeing them for one year
against serious genetic defects, AKC registration papers, and a 4 generation pedigree (shows their ancestors).
TESTING
All my breeding dogs are Optigen tested "A" normal/clear for prcd-PRA (serious eye problem), CERF'D
normal (for other eye issues), certified normal patellas (loose kneecaps), and my black minis have OFA hip certification.
SHIPPING
Although I prefer not to ship my babies, I will occasionally ship (weather permitting). I prefer
Continental Airlines as they have climate controlled areas for the animals. Shipping costs can range from $250-$300 depending
on the airline. This includes the flight, crate, health certificate for flying, and a small charge for my costs to and
from the airport for gas, tolls and parking.

Poodles come in 3 size classifications: Toy up to 10", Miniature 10"-15", and Standard over
15". The poodle is extremely intelligent, very devoted to family members, does not shed, no doggie order, curly
fur that is like human hair, and best of all - they are like potato chips, you can't have just one!
