Hi my name is SHARON BURKE of Sharwood Poodles, and we are located in Stuart, Florida
where I breed quality, healthy, AKC red, apricot and black poodles (specializing in

GET AN IDEA OF THE QUALITY AND COLORS THAT I AM BREEDING! My poodles average weight is 8-12 lbs. and up to 13" in height.
My numbers are small so that I can give each dog the care and love they need and want all the time. My breeding dogs
have pedigrees with many outstanding CHAMPION representatives of the breed. While I enjoy showing my poodles, I prefer
they go to homes where they will be a beloved, spoiled pet. I have poodles all over the country, and 99% of
them are in pet homes. I am very particular where my babies are placed, and I have no problem refusing to place a puppy
in a questionable environment.
I do not have a kennel. My dogs
and puppies are "family members" and receive lots of loving and attention. I wouldn't have it any other way. I
can't begin to tell you how much joy my poodles give me. They know when I am sad, sick, or having a great day!
Therefore, their moods adjust to my feelings. They will lay quietly by my side when I am sick, and just their presence
is a comfort.
TESTING
I personally consider testing a vital part
of my breeding program. Many health issues are hereditary, and testing gives me "peace of mind" knowing that I am
selling you as healthy a puppy as I can. However, there is no guarantee that other unforeseen issues won't "crop
up" that cannot be tested for. Fortunately all my dogs tested"normal/clear-A's" for prcd-PRA which causes blindness,
CERF'D normal (for other eye issues), and certified normal patellas (loose kneecaps). If a new dog arrives
without testing, that dog begins all testing before it will be used in my breeding program.
SHIPPING
While I prefer not shipping my babies, there are instances
when it is necessary. I try to use only Continental Airlines as you can usually ship in any kind of weather. Shipping costs are approximately $300-$350 which includes the flight, airline crate,
flying health certificate, and a small charge for tolls, parking and gas. HOWEVER, I WILL NOT SHIP IN THE SUMMER!
My puppy buyers are such great people because they will fly to Florida to pick up their baby and take it home on
the plane with them. I meet them at the West Palm Beach Airport, and they can then book a return flight on the same
day. It means so much to know that my puppy owners think that much of my/their babies!
PUPPY INFORMATION
Each puppy leaves my home well-groomed, has a thorough
vet health exam, 1st set of shots, worming, patella examination, and a Fl. Certificale of Health. I know that I
am placing as healthy a puppy as possible because I want you more than satisfied with your Sharwood puppy. Because it
is a requirement that the puppy be taken to the VET within 72 hours, I always receive an update telling me the puppy had an
excellent checkup, and that their VET commends me on the quality and health of the puppy. In fact, I have gotten many
referrals from the VET's when someone is looking for a poodle, and what better reference can you ask for.
